Shopping habits are changing, as the price of some vegetables goes through the roof.
The price of pumpkins is up by 176% this year...while the price of kumara has almost doubled and potatoes are almost 20 percent dearer.
Mangere Budgeting Services CEO Darryl Evans says it's pushed fresh vegetables out of the reach of many of his clients.
"[Customers] are actually resorting to frozen vegetables. They come pre-packed, the labels tell you that they have a lot of goodness in them, but more importantly, they are a lot less expensive."
