Ritchie McCaw could be out of the biggest rugby game of his life, if he's cited for an incident in this morning's semi-final.
Video of the match shows McCaw's elbow clipping Francois Louw about halfway through the first half.
Sports Editor Ricky Swannell has been taking a close look.
She said it appears that McCaw was running in a natural motion and the clip with the elbow was accidental.
However, the footage going viral may be a problem for McCaw, as "things get wound up on social media, you get a bit of clickbait, and the authorities think maybe we've got to do something or be seen to be doing something here."
McCaw hasn't been cited, but the citing officer has 36 hours to do so.
