Community Law Centres will use a boost in funding to make sure people know about their free legal help services.

The nationwide organisation received an additional $4.3 million in this year's budget.

CEO Liz Tennet said the money would help make sure justice is available to everyone in the community, especially those who need it most.

"We're doing work to ensure that the most vulnerable know about our services and can come to us to try and sort out problems they might have."

The money would also will be used to maintain and grow the organisation's services.

"What it's doing is it's providing some security of funding for our 24 community law centres around New Zealand. So we are pleased with that."
