It's being suggested Auckland's elected members are the unhappiest they've been since the council began.
A two-yearly councillor and local board survey shows satisfaction with council at 51 percent, a drop from the 64 percent reported last year.
Local board member Mark Thomas is putting it down to the fact that Mayor Len Brown hasn't "been working on the things local board members and councillors have been saying matter".
He said rather, they've been dealing with admin and technical issues.
"After six years, we are the unhappiest we've been because we haven't got clear decision making, we're seeing service cuts, and Auckland Transport's still too difficult an organisation to deal with."
