A woman has died after being found unresponsive in a swimming pool on Auckland's North Shore.

Police say 23-year-old Jingru Su died in hospital yesterday afternoon, after being pulled from a swimming pool last week.

She was a Chinese national who was studying in New Zealand on a student visa.

Police have found no evidence of suspicious circumstances and the death has been referred to the coroner.
