Corey Webster has parted ways with the Breakers.
The Australian basketball league club has decided against offering the controversy-plagued Tall Blacks guard a new contract.
Breakers general manager Dillon Boucher said it's time.
He said they mutually agreed that it was time for Webster to be able to move out of New Zealand and start afresh for a different team.
Corey Webster spent nine seasons with the Breakers, winning three championships.
The club stood by him after he twice tested positive to synthetic cannabis and have supported him through his ongoing court case.
Webster missed the second-half of last season with injury.
