New drink-driving laws are yet to put a major dent into the summer profits of the hospitality industry.
Hundreds of drivers have fallen foul of the new 250 milligram limit since it took effect at the start of the month.
But Hospitality Association president Adam Cunningham says bars have bounced back from an initial dip in business.
"I think it's still too early to see whether it has a long term effect but Christmas has been a phenomenal one."
