The search has resumed for a 22 year old man presumed drowned in the Waikato River.
The man went missing on Saturday night after he tried to swim across the river in central Hamilton.
Senior Sergeant Steve Ambler says officers are searching the banks of the river.
The police search boat is undergoing repairs after being damaged yesterday, but will be used tomorrow if its needed.
