Hamilton has secured a spot in the latest top 10 South Pacific destinations on the rise list.
It's number 10 on the TripAdvisor list of Travellers' Choice Awards for Destinations on the Rise, the only other New Zealand destination to make the list is Wanaka at number nine.
Mayor Julie Hardaker says this is a fantastic accolade for the city.
