Teen gets viral praise for random act of kindness

The world thrives on random acts of kindness, but most of these go publicly unnoticed.

18-year-old supermarket worker Christian Trouesdale wasn't expecting to receive public adulation when he offered to walk his 95-year-old customer home.

The senior citizen told Trouesdale he was scared of walking home in strong winds. At that point the British teen felt offering to walk the man home was a no-brainer.

Samantha-Jayne Brady saw the pair walking down the streets of Horwich, and snapped a photo of them both.

She later posted the picture on Facebook, crediting the "selfless, thoughtful and caring gesture" even though Trouesdale was not on Facebook at the time, and was unable to see the post or the responses to it.

Unexpectedly the post went viral. The post currently has 282,669 likes and 31,299 messages of praise from around the world.

Trouesdale has been back to check on Bob following the explosive public response, and his parents couldn't be prouder of their son. They took to Facebook to post an update on the pair, and thank the public for their kind, unexpected responses to the situation.

It goes to show good deeds don't go unnoticed. Brady is now working on a scrapbook for Trouesdale, featuring all the comments and responses the Facebook post has received.
