Legendary singer-songwriter Grace Jones will perform her first-ever New Zealand show in Queenstown next year -Â but tickets won't come cheap.
One of the original queens of disco, Ms Jones will perform at the Queenstown Events Centre on March 2, in an exclusive one-off South Island show.
Tickets for the exclusive show start at a hefty $159, with an additional booking fee.
Â
"We are incredibly excited to be bringing Grace Jones and her full band to Queenstown," organiser Alex Turnbull says.
"She is one of the last living legends of music and entertainment, a timeless artist that will unlikely ever head to our shores again."
The 69-year-old was born in Jamaica and discovered at New York's trailblazing Studio 54 nightclub, before shooting to worldwide stardom as a model, singer and muse to cutting-edge fashion designers, such as Karl Lagerfeld.
Tickets are on sale now.
