A US jury has found TV actor Dustin Diamond not guilty of one felony charge in last year's Christmas Day bar stabbing.

Bit it found the Saved By The Bell star guilty of two misdemeanour charges.

The actor, who played Screech in the 1990s series, was found by the court in Wisconsin not to have recklessly endangered safety, but he carried a concealed weapon and acted in a disorderly manner.

The 38-year-old says he reacted when he and his girlfriend were in a bar and some intoxicated patrons were being rude and insulting..

He says he did not intentionally stab anyone.
