Updated 10.17pm: Lorde has taken the honours at the Vodafone New Zealand Music Awards, winning Single of the Year and Album of the Year.
She took the awards despite strong competition from David Dallas, Broods, Sol3 Mio and The Naked and Famous.
Lorde, David Dallas and Sol3 Mio all got off to a flying start, winning early awards.
David Dallas took home best Urban Hip Hop, while Lorde took home six awards in total.
One wasn't much of a challenge, as she scooped the title for the highest selling single for Royals.
She was in a good mood earlier on the red carpet, posing for selfies with fans, though she walked straight past media and was not giving any interviews.
90's pop icons Supergroove were inducted into the Hall of Fame, with a female supergroup including Hollie Smith and Iva Lamkum covering their hits Can't Get Enough and Sitting Inside My Head.
The awards were held at Vector Arena in Auckland.Â
