Auckland's annual Armageddon Expo is looking set for a bumper year.

So much so that those behind the event are advising those interested they may be better off going on Sunday or Monday, as tomorrow is looking like the ASB Showgrounds will be at maximum capacity.

Organiser Bill Geradts says social media such as Twitter and Facebook is used to gauge interest in the event, and this year is looking good.

"There's certain indicators that tell you whether things are going well or poorly, and we passed well a month ago."We're at 'things are going holy god, how good is the show going to be'."
