Oscar-nominated British ice queen Rosamund Pike will voice the role of Lady Penelope in the new New Zealand produced TV series of Thunderbirds.

Pukeko Pictures has re-worked the children's favourite in conjunction with Weta Workshop and it's set to debut in the UK soon - and in New Zealand later this year.

And the original creator of the series, Sylvia Anderson, will feature as a new character, Lady Penelope's Great Aunt Sylvia.
