UPDATED 9.48AM Wellington District Court is in lockdown following the discovery of a suspicious package.
Police say a threat was phoned in against a building on Ballance Street at 8.30am.
An officer at the scene said a package had been delivered this morning - sniffer dogs are expected to sweep the area before cordons are lifted.
The entire block has been evacuated.
