Two people are injured, one seriously, after rolling a quad bike in Ahipara late this afternoon.
A rescue helicopter has been sent to the incident at Wreck Bay Road, 17 kilometres south-west of Kaitaia.
Emergency services were alerted at 4.20pm, and firefighters came across another motorcycle crash on their way to the quad bike.
One person has minor injuries from the motorcycle crash.
