UPDATED 9.46PM:Â An injured caver's finally been rescued in Abel Tasman National Park, by a team of cave experts.
Police say the 25-year-old Canadian woman has moderate shoulder and hand injuries.
She was in a shaft known as Harwoods Hole for more than eight hours, after becoming trapped with her two companions just after midday.
A helicopter's on its way to transport the woman to Nelson Hospital.
The woman's two companions are being walked out, and are expected to exit the cave at about half past ten.
