A man driving a stolen car crashed it into a power pole in South Auckland this morning, and the road's still closed.
Police are directing traffic away from Walmsley Road in Otahuhu.
The crash caused extensive damage to the power pole and crews are still working on it four hours later.
Police are yet to locate the driver - who took off on foot after he smashed his car into the pole.
