Police are looking for a 59-year-old man missing since Monday.

Richard Barber was last seen in Wellingont and was reported missing after family and friends lost contact with him. 

Based on text messages sent by the man before his disappearance, police believe he could be anywhere in the Wellington region – including the Wairarapa. 

In Monday he was seen driving his 2015 white Toyota Camry, registration JEC553.

Police ask anyone with information about Mr Barber or his car’s whereabouts to please contact Wellington Central Police on (04) 381 2000 or report anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
