Specialised rescue equipment is being used to free a person trapped when a car collided with a power pole in South Auckland tonight.
Emergency services were sent to the scene on Matapouri Rd in Mangere Bridge about 7.30pm.
Firefighters have been working to free the trapped person - the extent of whose injuries are unknown.
