UPDATED 8.33PM: Police are still searching for the person responsible for writing the note that mentioned a bomb on-board a Qantas flight that landed in Queenstown.
Queenstown Airport was evacuated when a cleaner found the message on the flight, from Australia, just before 3pm.
There were no passengers on the plane when the note was found.
It appears to have been a hoax, because an extensive search by aviation security and police found no evidence of an explosive.

Two incoming domestic flights were diverted and two outbound flights cancelled, following the scare.
The airport was given the all-clear earlier this evening.Â
People were asked to be patient as they were allowed to re-enter the building.
The airport said all evening services were running to schedule.
One person, who was about to board a plane to Christchurch, said airport staff "moved us out very fast".
"The mood is muted. Some people are quite worried but people just want to get out of the cold."
