A member of the public came across a dead body in Auckland’s Orakei Reserve off Tamaki Dr this morning.
The body was found in a dense area of bush at Okahu Bay about 10.30am, a police spokeswoman said.
The body was yet to be identified and a post-mortem would be carried out.
It was in a state of decomposition, she said.
