UPDATED 6.59am:Â Police investigating the death of a man in Wellington are urging anyone who may be holding back information to think of his family.
Bruce Coker has been remembered as a kind hearted man without a bad bone in his body, at a funeral in Porirua.
The 49-year-old was found unconscious on Rossiter St in Linden a week ago.
He died in hospital from a head injury on Tuesday.
Police say they will work tirelessly until the case is solved.
They say Mr Coker was the victim of a criminal act - and the person responsible is yet to come forward and own up to what they've done.
While most people are being helpful, police say others are holding back on being completely truthful.
They're urging anyone weighing up what the right thing to do is, to think of his family.
