The man accused of shooting three Ashburton Work and Income staff members will be back in court in February.
Homeless man Russell Tully is charged with murdering front counter workers Peggy Noble, and Leigh Cleveland in September.
He's also accused of attempting to murder a third worker, Lindy Curtis, who was shot in the leg and badly injured.
Tully was scheduled to appear in the High Court at Christchurch next week but the court says that appearance is no longer required.
