Four tourists are facing life imprisonment after being caught allegedly trying to smuggle methamphetamine into the country.
Two men and two women in their early to mid twenties were stopped by customs at Auckland Airport.
A dozen kilos of the drug were found hidden in their suitcases - with a street value of around $12 million.
