Name suppression will continue for a Christchurch man charged with drugging and indecently assaulting a male couch surfer.
The 35-year-old is accused of stupefying and sexually assaulting the man, and making an intimate recording.
In the Christchurch District Court this morning, Judge Raoul Neave continued the interim suppression until the trial to avoid any undermining of the case.
He’ll be back in court for a pre-trial hearing on June 5.
Couch surfers is a global social network that connects travellers with local people offering a spare bed or couch.
