Auckland police have arrested and charged two people with possession of around $120,000 worth of methamphetamine for supply.
A 44-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were arrested yesterday after around 10 ounces of methamphetamine was found in an inner city apartment.
Some chemicals and other paraphernalia which could be used in the methamphetamine manufacturing process were also found.
Further charges may be laid.
As part of this investigation, a vehicle was stopped by police in Nelson Street this morning - its occupants are assisting police.
Detective Inspector Chris Cahill said armed police were deployed as a precautionary measure.
