Police have released the name of an armed and dangerous man they're looking for in Thames.

The Armed Offenders Squad searched an house yesterday in relation to wanted man Rameka Wikaira.

He's 26-years-old, and wanted over recent burglaries and thefts in the area, and for breaching prison release conditions.

He's described as about 5'7 with a medium to thin build.

Police are also warning his associates that anyone caught assisting him may also be charged.

Any sightings of Wikaira should be reported to 111, alternatively information may be provided anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
