Waikato Police have arrested a man who's been on the run from police who want to speak to him about the sale of motorbikes on social media sites.

The 27 year old was arrested in Tokoroa today.

Acting Detective Sergeant Dean Schrader says the case involves victims who were lured to isolated rural Waikato properties to buy motorbikes bikes advertised for sale on Facebook.

He says when they arrived they were confronted by armed offenders who robbed them of their money at gunpoint.

A 37 year old woman has already been charged with being an accessory, while a 21 year old man also handed himself in to police last week.
