Queenstown police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on Church St in the early hours of this morning.
A man was knocked unconscious then hit several more times when he was on the pavement, outside the Devil Burger restaurant around 2.45am.
Police want to speak to a man caught on local CCTV, who was wearing dark clothing.
They would also like to hear from any witnesses to the assault.
