A man has pleaded not guilty to charges stemming from the biggest pokie fraud in New Zealand history.
The former gaming inspector was granted continued name suppression in the Wellington District Court, after pleading not guilty to two charges of obtaining by deception.
He's one of four men accused of being behind a $30 million fraud scheme.
Together, the group faces a total of more than 30 charges.
The man has elected a judge alone trial.
The others, former Harness Racing NZ chairman Pat O'Brien, his son Mike O'Brien and hospitality consultant Paul Max have all been remanded without plea until July.
