A jury has been selected in the trial of the man accused of murdering Auckland woman Cissy Chen.
Six men and six women will consider whether Jack Liu, 58, killed his wife, whose body was found in March, 2014.
Police found her body after a contractor mowing the lawns at Totaravale Reserve discovered a ribcage and a skull in a drain.
The trial is set to last six-to-eight weeks due to the necessity of translaring into Mandarin, as the accused is not proficient in English.
The crown will open its case at the Auckland High Court on Wednesday morning.
