The former boss of an Auckland-based media agency has been sentenced to eight months home detention.
Glenda Wynyard has been found guilty in the Auckland District Court of 11 Crimes Act charges laid by the Serious Fraud Office, following a five-week trial.
The charges include the deception of several people and offices, including providing false information to the Print Media Accreditation Authority to gain media accreditation.
Her company, The Media Counsel, was a media placement agency that went into liquidation in 2010.
Ms Wynyard's indicated she'll be filing an appeal.
