The fraud trial of embattled Christchurch developer, David Henderson, looks set to finally move forward.

He's due in the Christchurch District Court this morning to determine a date to continue his fraud trial.

Henderson faces seven charges of aiding and abetting his company Dweller in 2010.

The Crown alleges he used funds taken from his employees to pay creditors, rather than Inland Revenue.

After a bid to represent himself earlier in the month failed, the Judge gave the bankrupt businessman time to sort his defence.
