Hamilton Police's Criminal Investigation Branch won't be resting on its laurels, despite a successful morning involving four arrests of repeat aggravated robbery and ram raid offenders.

Operation Overflow saw Police and the Armed Offenders Squad arrest four teenagers over six incidents that happened between January 19 and February 27.

Three boys aged between 14 and 16 are appearing in Youth Court today, while the 18-year-old will appear in court next week.

Detective Sergeant Terri Wilson said the Overflow team is very happy with the arrests but the investigation is not over yet.

"There is a lot of work to go yet, there are a number of other individuals who have been identified and we'll be looking to locate them also."

He said it's unfortunate seeing people so young committing these crimes.

"Look I'm always surprised in relation to the age of the offenders, and it's unfortunate but that's the reality, and we have to deal with them as such."
