Updated 6:42pm: The High Court in New Plymouth has heard from a 16-year-old girl who saw two Facebook videos of an alleged rape.

An 18-year-old woman accuses two young men of violating her while she was drunk at a party on October 11 last year.

The complainant's mother left the courtroom, as the 16-year-old explained she'd seen the woman pull down her own underwear in a video.

She said she heard the complainant mumble, "I'm trying not to get raped", while one of the accused was on top of her.

She explained there wasn't any urgency in the woman's voice, and thought it was a weird thing to say in a "jokey" tone.

Brought to tears, the teen also told the packed courtroom that she heard the accused tell the person filming the affair on his phone, to go away.

The videos were uploaded onto a Facebook page, that about 20 people had access to.

Police have been unable to retrieve the videos, which were deleted.

One of the young men who hosted the party, told the court one of the accused asked the man who put the videos on Facebook, to take them down the day after the party.

He claimed the page wasn't used for the boys to brag about their "sexcapades".
