One of the first ex-prisoners to complete a programme with a Pasifika focus has already found work, after being released.
The first five participants of the initiative has graduated this week.
It's run by People At Risk Solutions and a religious group, and they say they're delighted.
They say getting into work is one of the biggest challenges prisoners face when they're released.
