The High Court in New Plymouth has been reconfigured to stop potential interaction between a witness and a man accused of killing his son.
David Roigard who is charged with killing Aaron Roigard in June last year, when he could no longer conceal he had stolen thousands of dollars from his son.
A screen has been put up in front of David Roigard, to stop the jury focussing on any possible interaction with his wife Pamela who is currently on the witness stand.
Justice Heath told the jury the screen was put in place so they could focus on the evidence Mrs Roigard was giving, rather than read anything into any possible interactions between the pair.
The screen will also stay in place while Mr Roigard's daughter Aimee gives evidence later today.
