A man drove his car through a crowd in Hamilton last night, injuring six people, including a pregnant woman.
Just before 10, a car was driving down Crawshaw Drive when one of the three people inside got out to be sick.
Those at a nearby address weren't happy and the situation escalated, resulting in the sick person being assaulted.
The female driver got out of the car to intervene, and the third occupant of the car - an 18 year old with a disqualified licence - drove the Subaru through a gathering crowd.
Six people were taken to Waikato Hospital by ambulance.
Four were admitted, including the pregnant woman whose leg was broken, and another woman with a broken foot.
Police are investigating and say charges are likely.
