Two Canadian men found guilty of skimming ATM machines in Christchurch are set for deportation.
39-year-old Hoan Nguyen and his nephew Quang Nguyen were sentenced to five months jail for joint charges of intent to dishonestly obtain bank card information.
However, as they've been in custody since their arrest in March, and are eligible for parole halfway through their sentence, they're set to be deported to Canada imminently.
Judge Paul Kellar described the crime as reasonably serious but took into account their previous clean record overseas.
