A 51 year old's been arrested and charged with murder, over a body that was found in rural Canterbury on Anzac Day.

A 31 year old female's also been arrested - and charged conspiring to assault and accessory after the fact.

The police investigation is now focussed on a Bishopdale address as a result of these arrests.

The burnt body of Marcus Tucker was found near Doyleston on Monday.

Police are also asking the public for any sightings of a grey 1994 Nissan Cefiro travelling between Ruskin St, Addington, and Leeston on Sunday evening or Monday morning.

Both will appear in Christchurch District Court tomorrow.
