Police have charged one man, and referred a 14-year-old to youth aid, following an act of vandalism on a Christchurch Pier.
Glass panels were found smashed on the pedestrian ramp of New Brighton Pier, along with two large windows of a nearby public library in September.
The cost of the damage is estimated to be over 38-thousand dollars.
An 18-year-old will appear in the Christchurch District Court on Monday, charged with intentional damage.
Police investigations are continuing.
