It's hoped a new range of women's safety gear will be a good fit for females in the construction industry.
The Stronger Christchurch Infrastructure Rebuild Team has launched the new clothing range, in a bid to attract more women to the rebuild.
SCIRT General Manager Duncan Gibb says the new designs aren't just about catering for females, it's about keeping them safe on the job too.
"A big baggy man shirt catches on equipment around you and wouldn't expect a bloke to get around in a woman's dress at work, so why would you expect a woman to get around in bloke's trousers and shirts."
