EQC, The Insurance Council and CERA have put up $1.2 million to ensure Christchurch's Residential Advisory Service is around for another year.
The service began in 2013, and offers independent rebuild and repair advice to quake affected residents.
Associate Earthquake Recovery Minister Nicky Wagner says statistics show it's working.
"90 percent of the people who have used the service say they'd recommend it to others, about 80 percent of them say that they had a good experience and about 77 percent of them think they got a good outcome."
Wagner says as long there's demand, they'll keep funding the service.
