Canterbury police have arrested a construction worker accused of ripping off his employer over $100,000.
Police were contacted when the company became suspicious about irregularities in its accounts.
It's alleged the man issued company invoices with a personal bank account number for payments to be made into.
He's believed to have stolen just over $139,000 from 16 customers over a 13 month period.
A 26-year-old man will appear in court today on the theft charges.
