A Christchurch man who allegedly voted multiple times during last year's general election will go to trial.
The 45 year old, who has name suppression, appeared in Christchurch District court today for a case review hearing.
The maximum penalty for this charge he faces is two years imprisonment or a $40,000 fine.
The man entered a not guilty plea last month.
The judge set down a half day trial on the matter for September.
