It's too early to be drawing any conclusions about the TPP, following the release of the text online.

That's according to the Employers and Manufacturers Association, which believes the trade deal will be hugely significant for New Zealand's economy,.

Its CEO Kim Campbell said the deal should not be picked apart before they've had a chance to really examine its six thousand pages.

"This is a transformational deal, it enables New Zealand to join 47 percent of the world's GDP, to be in a place that in ten years time we would never even have dreamt of before."

Campbell has glanced through the TPP text, and thinks it's entirely a good thing.

"Let Jane Kelsey and all the negative people grope around and see if they can find something, and sure enough, they will and they'll say 'I got you.' Frankly, in the end, I'm not interested in it. We have to be positive and find a way to make this thing happen."
