There's a stoush brewing between Aussie and Kiwi wine makers.
Kiwi wine is popular across the ditch and that's riled the Aussie wine makers.
They are now calling to for the tax rebate offered for Kiwi wines under the CER trans-Tasman trade agreement to be scrapped.
New Zealand Wine Growers chief executive Philip Gregan says that's not on.
"We'll keep a watching brief and make sure that anything the Australian government does is compliant with their CER obligations, and we'll talk to the NZ government to ensure that if anything comes up that we don't think is correct they will take it up with Australia."
