A flat result for telecommunications network operator Chorus.

It's profit of $91 million for the 12 months ending June 30 is unchanged from a year earlier.

Chorus blames lower regulated pricing for access to its copper services.

The copper network still represents 73 per cent of Chorus's revenue.

However total fixed-line connections fell over the year from 1.79 million to 1.76 million. while broadband connections rose from 1.21 million to 1.23 million.
